Base Salary
$400k - $680k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud access patterns, cloud security boundaries, and paved paths.
- Develop internal tooling, scripting, and data analysis tools across AWS and GCP.
- Design scalable solutions for cloud account management, IAM, resource discovery, self-service, right-sizing, and management.
- Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to design security solutions.
- Perform threat assessments and address cloud security requests using AWS architecture and services.
- Secure challenging third-party cloud infrastructure access patterns, including vendor integrations.
- Define metrics to measure and guide cloud security posture and progress.
- Reduce cloud security risks and eliminate tedious access management work.
Requirements
- Broad and deep understanding of cloud security fundamentals, especially CloudSec operations, AWS account management, and security architecture.
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to design security solutions.
- Experience securing cloud environments beyond AWS, such as GCP, or willingness to learn additional cloud platforms.
- Ability to build practical tooling, scripting, and data analysis tools.
- Experience securing third-party cloud infrastructure access patterns such as vendor integrations.
- Ability to define meaningful cloud security posture metrics.
- Experience driving mid-complexity projects independently in an L5 role and navigating ambiguity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a pragmatic approach to security risk.
- Ability to identify high-leverage work and drive it independently.

- Annual salary and stock option compensation structure with no bonuses; the stated salary range is $400,000.00-$680,000.00 depending on location.
