Responsibilities
- Build and operate production backend services and full-stack features for digital threat detection and remediation.
- Develop high-throughput ingestion, enrichment, scoring, alerting, data pipeline, API, dashboard, and threat-linking systems.
- Design scalable and fault-tolerant architectures using sharding, caching, queueing, idempotency, and backpressure.
- Build and operate batch or streaming data pipelines, analytics data systems, and efficient schemas at scale.
- Implement observability, structured logging, tracing, dashboards, SLOs, alerts, debugging, incident response, and on-call support.
- Own work end to end from customer requirements and design through implementation, testing, monitoring, and shipped-release iteration.
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Success, and Sales, make product decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building production backend services or full-stack features, or equivalent experience, with a record of end-to-end delivery.
- Strong mastery of at least one of Python, Go, Java, or Node, with familiarity with web APIs, asynchronous processing, and service frameworks.
- Solid system design skills and experience architecting scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience with large data pipelines, warehouses or OLAP systems, and efficient schema design for scale.
- Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, message queues, rate limiting, retries, and cost-versus-latency tradeoffs.
- Strong observability, debugging, and incident response skills.
- Product ownership and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
