Responsibilities
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic planning for digital systems, technologies, and platforms.
- Specify, design, and lead development of software technology platforms using Microsoft and cloud technologies for global dental and healthcare markets.
- Develop commercial web applications and 3D digital experiences, including 3D scene graphs and custom frontend UI components.
- Lead design and optimization of cloud architectures and infrastructure for elasticity and scalability.
- Collaborate with software development, systems engineering, product management, customers, trainers, and end users throughout product development.
- Lead AI-enabled initiatives supporting requirements analysis, technical design, coding, documentation, testing, integration troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Support regulatory processes, quality systems, FDA requirements, verification and validation, configuration management, and commercialization activities.
- Work independently and with distributed, cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and four years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED and eight years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing commercial web applications in a Microsoft environment.
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Preferred: ten or more years developing commercial web applications in a Microsoft environment.
- Preferred: experience with 3D scene graphs, Angular or Vue, linear algebra, 3D geometry, coordinate spaces, HTML5, CSS, DOM manipulation, REST APIs, HTML canvases, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft SQL.
- Preferred: experience creating custom frontend UI components and designing scalable cloud architectures and infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with regulatory processes, quality systems, FDA requirements, software engineering methodology, verification and validation, and commercialization.
- Preferred: experience developing commercial computer products, working with product teams and customers, and taking products from prototype through commercial launch.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, systems-thinking, collaboration, organization, independence, adaptability, and ability to meet deadlines.
