Base Salary

$164k - $230k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build ad experiences and reusable patterns for Reddit’s web application.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement sophisticated solutions.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and deployment.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to software quality and engineering productivity.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of web engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Ability to build data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant applications.
  • Experience with automated testing best practices, code quality, design patterns, and observability.
  • Experience using GenAI tools to improve software engineering productivity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical audiences in a fully remote environment.
  • Preferred: experience with ad tech and high-production-value consumer-facing sites at scale.
