Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain software for Fortinet’s TLS stack and Unified Threat Management feature set.
- Track developments in application-layer protocols and software practices and recommend improvements.
- Promote strong coding and software design practices within the team.
- Suggest product improvements based on hands-on use of Fortinet products.
- Research and define technologies that enhance current and future products and reassess existing implementations as needed.
Requirements
- Experience developing software in C, C++, Golang, or Rust.
- Experience developing software in Linux or UNIX-like environments.
- Knowledge of TLS, TCP/IP, POSIX APIs, and socket programming.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
