Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitLab CI.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, and implement logging and alerting for proactive incident management and uptime reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline deployments and support security compliance.
- Manage cloud resources for cost, performance, and availability while supporting Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud-native architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture and best practices across teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- At least one Cloud DevOps certification for Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, including infrastructure, services, and deployments.
- Practical experience with Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline tools or data platforms.
- Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Understanding of Git and collaborative workflows, including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Effective English communication skills for collaboration with global teams and participation in agile development cycles.
- Preferred: experience designing scalable, highly available cloud-native architectures and optimizing cloud environments for cost efficiency, performance, and resilience.
- Preferred: strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across complex distributed systems.
- Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting DevOps practices.
