Responsibilities
- Develop multiple AI-driven end-to-end pipelines for scalable machine learning model deployment.
- Build an end-to-end machine learning platform spanning model development and deployment lifecycle stages.
- Create tools for data ingestion, feature engineering, data management, and organization.
- Deploy machine learning algorithms and LLMs on GPUs using distributed computing for scalability.
- Build model management and model performance monitoring capabilities.
- Apply engineering practices to scale ML-powered features and enable rapid experimentation.
- Own the ML infrastructure roadmap in collaboration with Data Science and platform teams.
- Take complex research ideas from experimentation through production.
- Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Engineering, Platform, Product, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or statistics, with 7+ years of machine learning engineering experience.
- Experience deploying large-scale machine learning models to production in batch and real-time environments.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark or Map-Reduce.
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of the full machine learning pipeline from data ingestion through production.
- Experience with machine learning operations, software engineering, and architecture.
- Experience architecting and building production machine learning pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
- Experience with Databricks is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning theory and practice, optimization, data mining, statistics, and linear algebra.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to drive cross-functional requirements.
