Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive, reusable Power Apps canvas applications with strong usability, delegation awareness, and performance.
- Design and implement scalable Power Automate cloud and child flows with error handling, approvals, retries, scheduling, and throughput considerations.
- Implement Dataverse tables, relationships, keys, calculated and rollup fields, business rules, and organizational security models.
- Integrate Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder models, and prompt-based actions into Power Platform solutions.
- Integrate applications with external systems and Microsoft 365 services through standard and custom connectors and APIs.
- Apply Power Platform ALM using solutions, environment variables, connection references, pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot and performance-tune apps, flows, and Dataverse, and resolve defects through closure.
- Follow governance, licensing, DLP, security, and environment-strategy requirements.
- Produce technical documentation and solution designs, and support testing, UAT, deployment, and release activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers, run requirements discussions and demos, and guide junior developers.
Requirements
- 4–10 years of overall application development experience with a substantial recent focus on Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps canvas apps, Power Fx, reusable components, responsive design, collections, variables, delegation, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience designing scalable Power Automate workflows, including error handling, child flows, approvals, and long-running or high-volume patterns.
- Proven Dataverse implementation experience covering tables, columns, relationships, alternate keys, calculated and rollup fields, and business rules.
- Practical command of Dataverse security roles, teams, business units, row-level security, and column-level security.
- Working knowledge of integrating AI agents and Copilot capabilities through Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or equivalent tools.
- Experience integrating external systems and Microsoft 365 services using standard and custom connectors and APIs.
- Understanding of Power Platform ALM, governance, licensing implications, and DLP policies.
- Ability to debug and performance-tune applications and flows and resolve defects through closure.
- Good client-facing communication skills for requirement discussions, demonstrations, and explaining design decisions.
- Preferred experience with model-driven apps, Power Pages, Power BI, and in-depth Copilot Studio agent development.
- Preferred custom-code experience with PCF components, JavaScript, C# plug-ins, or Azure Functions.
- Preferred Azure integration experience with Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault, or Service Bus.
- Preferred Microsoft certifications including PL-400, PL-200, PL-600, or AI-102.
- Preferred experience with Dataverse migration and integration tooling, Dynamics 365, consulting or global delivery environments, presales or demo support, and reusable components or practice IP.
