Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
- Design, code, and unit test backend systems based on requirements and design documents.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team technical practices and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable distributed programs deployed to Kubernetes environments.
- Support and debug production issues through on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of backend development experience.
- Have experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in one or more of Golang, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Have strong experience with distributed systems, REST APIs, and backend microservices.
- Be proficient in data structures and algorithms with strong coding habits and style.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for building stakeholder consensus.
- Be able to independently analyze and solve problems and learn new technologies quickly.
- Open-source contribution experience and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native tooling are preferred.
