Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and support resilient hybrid cloud deployment architectures.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are production-ready, scalable, and reliable.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement measures that improve system resilience.
- Manage CI/CD platforms, Linux infrastructure, capacity planning, and operational runbooks.
- Design proactive monitoring, alerting, and trend analysis for service availability and performance SLAs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and resolve production incidents.
- Document infrastructure design, deployment, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of DevOps engineering experience with mission-critical enterprise systems in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- At least 3 years of hands-on cloud environment experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform.
- Expertise with configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory, plus Linux/Unix administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes and monitoring or observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of networking principles, including firewalls, load balancers, and complex network designs.
