Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional testing.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities, including test strategy, test data, automation, execution, and defect management.
- Design and execute manual and automated test strategies, cases, scenarios, and certification plans.
- Write test scenarios and cases using Gherkin syntax and maintain reusable manual and automated test cases.
- Automate backend, web, desktop, and mobile testing and apply continuous and performance testing frameworks.
- Manage test data across functional and non-functional testing environments.
- Execute early-stage development tests, certification tests, regression tests, and post-production validation plans.
- Manage defects, monitor incidents and test results, and track issues through resolution.
- Perform security and other non-functional testing when required.
- Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies and propose remediation plans.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
- ISTQB certification or knowledge of ISTQB practices.
- Knowledge of testing techniques and test case design.
- Experience with BDD, Gherkin syntax, and defining and executing test strategies.
- Experience with backend, web, desktop, and mobile test automation.
- Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, and Cucumber.
- Knowledge of mobile test automation with Appium.
- Knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with Jira and Xray for test management.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Bitbucket for continuous testing.
- Knowledge of Postman, Dynatrace, OWASP, and MongoDB.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify risks, and propose solutions.
- Collaborative working ability in agile teams.
- Desirable knowledge of DevSecOps for testing, configuration management, version control, branching strategies, test data management, test case administration, test design patterns, mobile functional and non-functional testing, performance testing fundamentals, and security testing.
