Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement molab’s backend architecture
- Build systems for high availability, low latency, stability, and fault tolerance
- Rapidly spin up and spin down notebook kernels on demand
- Improve low-latency communication between notebook frontends and backends
- Address fraud and abuse concerns
- Build product features such as secret management
- Develop performant and scalable tools for developers
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong language-agnostic software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with computer systems, including parallel computing, threading, multiprocessing, concurrency, asynchronous programming, networking, and inter-process communication
- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, scheduling, networked filesystems, resource allocation, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
