Responsibilities

Design, build, test, configure, tune, and deploy application components and interfaces.
Provide technical and domain expertise for the Distributed Common Data Transport Service platform.
Implement backend functionality, application interconnectivity, resiliency, reliability, and performance improvements.
Support developed components throughout the full development-to-production lifecycle.
Work with infrastructure partners to establish development, testing, and production environments.
Collaborate with functional architects to elaborate requirements and ensure designs meet functional needs.
Review and extend data models and contribute to technology-specific standards and best practices.
Construct performance test cases and strategies, tune application performance, and implement security solutions.
Develop and maintain system documentation.
Work with QA and product partners to ensure delivery quality against requirements.
Monitor and mitigate technology, risk, and control issues in day-to-day responsibilities.

7+ years of related experience.
7+ years of full-stack development experience, including JavaScript, core Java, Perl/Shell scripting, and automated unit testing for front-end and back-end development.
3+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL query development, and stored procedure development.
Experience with Eclipse, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and HiPAM tools.
Experience deploying to and configuring Tomcat application servers.
Experience with JIRA and Agile development using Scrum and Kanban.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Experience with IBM Application Connect Enterprise, formerly IIB, is a plus.
