Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, configure, tune, and deploy application components and interfaces.
- Provide technical and domain expertise for the Distributed Common Data Transport Service platform.
- Implement backend functionality, application interconnectivity, resiliency, reliability, and performance improvements.
- Support developed components throughout the full development-to-production lifecycle.
- Work with infrastructure partners to establish development, testing, and production environments.
- Collaborate with functional architects to elaborate requirements and ensure designs meet functional needs.
- Review and extend data models and contribute to technology-specific standards and best practices.
- Construct performance test cases and strategies, tune application performance, and implement security solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Work with QA and product partners to ensure delivery quality against requirements.
- Monitor and mitigate technology, risk, and control issues in day-to-day responsibilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience.
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience, including JavaScript, core Java, Perl/Shell scripting, and automated unit testing for front-end and back-end development.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL query development, and stored procedure development.
- Experience with Eclipse, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and HiPAM tools.
- Experience deploying to and configuring Tomcat application servers.
- Experience with JIRA and Agile development using Scrum and Kanban.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Experience with IBM Application Connect Enterprise, formerly IIB, is a plus.
