Responsibilities
- Design and configure the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including entitlements, software models, and discovery patterns.
- Use and customize publisher packs to manage Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM software licensing.
- Integrate SAM Pro with ServiceNow Shopping Hub and Service Catalog to automate software requests and deployment workflows.
- Configure Asset Management-Procurement Integration to create entitlements from purchase orders.
- Develop dashboards and automated reclamation candidates to identify underutilized software and support cost savings.
- Integrate with external vendor portals and inventory tools using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Ingest bulk entitlement data from legacy systems using Transform Maps and Data Loads.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and ServiceNow Integration Hub.
- Experience using Transform Maps and Data Loads for bulk entitlement data.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist—Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM) certification.
- Direct experience with SaaS License Management is preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL v4, particularly Service Request and Asset Management, is preferred.
