Senior Software Engineer- Tech Ex AI Assets Foundry Team

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack software applications and reusable AI asset components.
- Build and integrate generative AI capabilities using APIs, prompt workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, model integration, embeddings, and evaluation patterns.
- Translate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into maintainable, reliable, and secure code.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, governance, and engineering teammates in an Agile/Scrum product environment.
- Implement established architecture patterns and provide practical engineering recommendations without owning enterprise architecture direction.
- Contribute to code reviews, unit and integration testing, CI/CD, documentation, observability, and production support.
- Apply responsible AI, data privacy, security, and compliance considerations to AI-enabled features and internal software assets.
- Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across front-end, back-end, data, cloud, and AI service layers.
- Mentor junior developers and share engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required.
- At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience delivering production-quality software.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts, software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, APIs, databases, and CI/CD delivery practices.
- Experience building or integrating AI, machine learning, generative AI, or data-driven capabilities into software products.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Databricks, LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, or model evaluation is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, designers, architects, engineers, governance, and product success partners in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to follow architecture direction, contribute engineering design input, and make sound technical tradeoffs while remaining hands-on.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, documentation, and English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across geographies and time zones.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior developers.
