Responsibilities
- Work with experienced software developers and consultants to understand client requirements and develop custom software solutions.
- Learn and implement new technologies and software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and help ensure code quality.
- Meet with clients to understand requirements and provide solutions.
- Write documentation and conduct client training sessions.
- Continuously improve software development skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with test and DevOps specialists and service managers on automated software releases from development to production.
- Develop software and contribute to high-level technical designs with business analysts, software architects, user researchers, and experience designers.
Requirements
- Two A levels or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Computing, Maths, IT, Science, or Engineering.
- Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects.
- Familiarity with a programming language or framework such as Java, C#/.NET, or JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of relational or non-relational databases, including MS Access, MS SQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Curiosity, adaptability, analytical problem-solving ability, communication skills, collaboration, reliability, and a passion for data.
