Responsibilities
- Design software architectures and application software patterns.
- Develop responsive and reactive front-end applications using web frameworks.
- Build back-end services using multiple development stacks, APIs, object-oriented and functional programming techniques, and programmatic SQL.
- Elicit requirements from business partners and translate them into application solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor custom applications using Vue.js, Flask, and Hugging Face.
- Collaborate on reusable technology patterns and contribute to the patterns catalog.
- Participate in architecture and software development activities.
- Translate loosely defined requirements into implemented solutions.
- Debug production issues across services and application components.
- Collaborate across teams on technology roadmaps, best practices, and Generative AI adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience, including 3 or more years as a full-stack developer or in a similar digital technology role.
- Experience developing with Python.
- Experience with front-end and back-end application development, software architecture, APIs, data access, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong technical collaboration, communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, and code-documentation skills.
- Experience with GitLab, Jira, CI/CD, technical documentation tools, and agile software development practices including Scrum.
- Ability to define technology roadmaps, collaborate across teams, drive adoption of best practices, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Preferred AWS cloud infrastructure certification.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, Hugging Face, building Generative AI applications, .NET, C#, Java, and Node.js.
