Base Salary
$168k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable AWS infrastructure for Generative AI and agentic systems in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
- Establish governance frameworks, validation pathways, and Well Architected Framework practices for GenAI infrastructure and proofs of concept.
- Manage Kubernetes or ECS-based GenAI workflows and evaluate orchestration options including Argo, Kubeflow, ECS, and AgentCore.
- Create and govern GenAI data pipelines using Airflow or comparable tools.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management with AWS CDK using TypeScript, Projen, and Argo CD.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct cost-benefit and performance analyses of AWS infrastructure and foundation models.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, product, science, and security teams to scale the platform across the organization.
Requirements
- HS diploma and 8 years of Engineering/IT solutions experience, or a BA/BS degree and 6 years of experience, or equivalent capabilities.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and management roles.
- Deep understanding of the Data Science Lifecycle and experience shepherding data-science projects from inception through production.
- Expertise in TypeScript, AWS CDK, Projen, Argo CD, and other cloud infrastructure CI/CD tools.
- Strong familiarity with Python and extensive experience managing Kubernetes clusters and/or ECS for GenAI workflows.
- Strong understanding of foundation models, Generative AI solutions, AWS DevOps practices, and cloud architecture.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, with hands-on cloud-system design experience.
- Experience with microservices architecture, API design, database management, infrastructure monitoring, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects and conduct performance and cost analyses of AWS infrastructure and ML/AI models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
