Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, service requests, defects, and recurring issues while maintaining application stability and availability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for application, API, database, and cloud problems.
- Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Create and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
- Support application deployments, releases, patching, monitoring, and environment maintenance.
- Participate in technology lifecycle management, upgrades, remediation, and end-of-life transitions.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, cloud, security, and other stakeholder teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in application development, maintenance, and production support using Microsoft technologies.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and monitoring tools.
- Experience managing incidents, requests, defects, and operational support through ticketing platforms.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, SQL performance tuning, query optimization, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.
- Understanding of application security, vulnerability remediation, software upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams and balancing development with operational priorities.
- Preferred experience includes healthcare, insurance, enterprise-scale, hybrid-cloud, microservices, API integration, or ITSM environments.
- Preferred technologies and qualifications include ServiceNow, PowerShell, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, security scanning tools, and Microsoft Azure certifications.

- Base salary ranges from CAD 75,000 to CAD 95,000 per year.
