Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack workflow automation features using Java for backend services and React/TypeScript for frontend experiences.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend services for distributed workflow systems.
- Build responsive interfaces for creating, configuring, and monitoring automated workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, infrastructure teams, and engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, engineering best practices, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to and triage production issues.
- Attend weekly stand-ups, team meetings, and manager one-on-ones.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack development expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript, with understanding of object-oriented design principles, REST APIs, and modern web development patterns.
- Experience building scalable backend systems, including database design, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing.
- Ability to assess, communicate, and complete project milestones in a time-sensitive environment.
- Fluent written and verbal English proficiency.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience with workflow automation, business process management, or integration platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
- Preferred: experience leading cross-functional projects, mentoring junior engineers, enterprise integrations, or API design.
- Preferred: open-source contributions or demonstrated passion for software craftsmanship.
