Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Angular frontend components and Python backend services using FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
- Implement and consume APIs and contribute to microservices development.
- Collaborate with technical leads and solution architects on system architecture and engineering best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate application functionality with AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites with QA engineers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation and stay current with relevant technologies and frameworks.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and strong backend development experience with Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy.
- Understanding of REST API design and integration, plus familiarity with AWS application development and deployment services.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab, and exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, with the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Preferred qualifications include regulated-industry experience, knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, NIST, or FedRAMP, AWS certification, cloud-native and microservices experience, test automation experience, and PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB knowledge.
