Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack AI-native products, internal platforms, prototypes, and production applications.
- Design agentic AI applications, LLM workflows, RAG systems, document-processing pipelines, and other applied AI solutions.
- Translate ambiguous business, product, and client needs into scalable technical systems.
- Develop modern frontend experiences and backend systems and APIs.
- Design data models across relational, graph, vector, and hybrid database architectures.
- Integrate commercial APIs, open-source models, automation platforms, cloud services, and third-party tools.
- Build asynchronous workflows, dashboards, admin tools, approval systems, and automation infrastructure.
- Contribute to shared internal libraries, Infinity Commons, and Gravity.
- Collaborate with founders, product leaders, senior engineers, and clients, and occasionally embed with portfolio companies or client teams.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping real products used by real users.
- Fluency in Python and experience building AI-powered applications, workflows, or systems.
- Full-stack development experience with technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, or Django.
- Experience rapidly building prototypes, proof-of-concepts, MVPs, or zero-to-one products.
- Practical experience with LLMs, AI APIs, agent frameworks, and measuring system quality and performance.
- Experience integrating APIs, cloud services, databases, open-source tools, and automation platforms.
- Ability to design systems that can evolve without unnecessary complexity and translate non-technical needs into pragmatic solutions.
- Experience collaborating directly with stakeholders, customers, technical teams, and non-technical partners.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with AI agents, RAG, GraphRAG, vector databases, knowledge retrieval, document-processing pipelines, internal platforms, startups, forward-deployed engineering, regulated industries, open-source AI or ML, or STEM, data science, and quantitative engineering backgrounds.
