Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI applications with a focus on SSR, CSR, and their implications for SEO.
- Translate SEO requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
- Monitor and improve page performance signals affecting organic search outcomes.
- Work independently in ambiguous problem spaces to propose pragmatic solutions.
- Collaborate with product, design, content, SEO, and analytics teams.
- Communicate execution plans and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to keeping software and tooling current with best practices.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in modern frontend development: React, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and HTML.
- In-depth knowledge of SSR and CSR patterns in React.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles for web applications.
- Experience building web experiences that support strong search performance.
- Comfortable contributing to backend implementation when needed.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
- Ability to evaluate engineering tradeoffs across performance and maintainability.
