Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own complex backend features and services that resolve customer requests and bugs.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to translate requests into technical solutions.
- Work across various product areas, gaining familiarity with different systems.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain engineering practices for reliable delivery.
- Adapt to frontend work as team needs evolve, focusing on full-stack flexibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend skills in Java and/or Ruby on Rails.
- Proven ability to manage complex problems from inception to production with minimal oversight.
- Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers.
- Willingness to work across the full stack, including frontend technologies like React.
- Strong focus on customer outcomes and delivering results.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
