Responsibilities
- Own the strategic technical relationship with EMEA partner leadership and define how Coder fits into partner AI, cloud, and modernization portfolios.
- Co-create partner-specific sales plays and Working Backwards outcome proposals for strategic partner-customer opportunities.
- Develop and deliver workshops, Builder Labs, enablement sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive partner experiences.
- Support high-value partner-attached deals through co-selling, technical discovery, proof-of-value scoping, architecture reviews, and technical win support.
- Convert partner enablement into scalable LMS modules and certification tiers.
- Create reference architectures, deployment diagrams, network topologies, IAM patterns, and operational runbooks for strategic partner combinations.
- Codify partner engagements into repeatable GTM playbooks covering triggers, discovery, positioning, demos, proof-of-value scopes, and outcomes.
- Build AI-powered self-service tools for opportunity briefs, PR/FAQs, workshop deployments, and demo-site creation.
- Produce monthly EMEA partner intelligence for Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership.
- Own EMEA-relevant portions of joint technical integration roadmaps with strategic partners.
- Publish Partner Relations content including technical blogs, cookbooks, conference talks, enablement videos, and workshop recaps.
- Contribute to cloud marketplace listings, competency documentation, and CSP co-build technical requirements for EMEA partners and compliance contexts.
Requirements
- 7+ years of combined experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, Technical Consulting, or Developer Relations roles at an infrastructure, developer tools, or AI company.
- Demonstrated success helping partners or customers adopt products in emerging or undefined categories.
- Hands-on production cloud infrastructure experience with at least one of AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, plus deep Kubernetes and Terraform experience.
- At least 2 years deploying or operating AI coding agents in production or near-production environments.
- Ability to explain workspace-local agent tooling versus centralized agentic harnesses and their security, compliance, and data sovereignty implications.
- Experience working with channel or technology partners in co-sell models, including hyperscaler, GSI, RSI, VAR, or distributor ecosystems in EMEA.
- Experience creating scalable technical go-to-market assets such as sales plays, enablement curricula, reference architectures, or technical content programs.
- Executive communication and Field CTO credibility, with English fluency and ideally an additional European language.
- Strong written communication across PR/FAQ documents, technical architecture documentation, and technical blog content.
- Bonus experience includes Forward Deployed Engineering at a platform company, public technical advocacy, hyperscaler partner programs, European regulatory environments, air-gapped deployments, AI governance, SIEM integration, LLM gateways, human-in-the-loop agent workflows, Kubernetes certifications, Tailscale, open-source contributions, and European partner relationships.
- German, French, or a Nordic language is an additional bonus qualification.
