Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for sportsbook functionality, including betting markets, odds updates, in-play events, and risk management.
- Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, test schedules, sign-off documents, and quality validation practices.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and performance testing across sportsbook backend and frontend systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Validate data accuracy, betting calculations, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to support high-quality sprint releases.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum framework and help influence delivery practices and team quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in sports betting, gaming, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of sportsbook platforms, betting markets, and in-play event handling.
- Experience with SQL for data validation and API/Swagger testing.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, UI, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience with JIRA and TestRail or similar test management tools.
- Experience in high-traffic, real-time gaming or betting environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in regulated markets is preferred.
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is preferred.
- Experience with REST API testing using RestAssured or Postman is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and curiosity.
