Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for software architecture and APIs.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and support quality assurance.
- Maintain automated regression test suites for software stability.
- Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing across the Dragonfly platform.
- Validate subsystem and system integrations for interoperability.
- Execute structured laboratory testing of RF capabilities against specifications.
- Plan and execute outdoor field testing activities.
- Document test results and maintain quality documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing methodologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of SDET or software QA engineering experience, preferably in defense or RF domains.
- Experience developing automated test suites using Python, Rust, or similar languages.
- Proficient in writing and executing test plans for complex systems.
- Experience with field or outdoor hardware/software validation testing.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and Docker environments.
- Experience with software-defined radio systems or spectrum analysis tools.
- Proficient in using defect tracking and test management tools like Jira or Gitlab.
- Experience collaborating within Agile/Scrum development teams.
