Responsibilities

  • Participate in IT projects involving requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Complete department assignments while developing knowledge of software development, insurance workflows, and the corporate environment.
  • Complete assigned training and build analytical, technical, decision-making, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Network with leaders, experienced teammates, and other interns and receive formal and informal feedback.

Requirements

  • Complete at least sophomore-level coursework with strong academic performance toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
  • Have coursework in a high-level programming language and data structures, with experience in JavaScript; C#, Java, Python, or similar programming experience is relevant.
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, teamwork, professional composure, basic computer application proficiency, and an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Preferred qualifications include interest in application development, previous work or internship experience, flexibility managing multiple projects and deadlines, and demonstrated leadership aptitude.
