Responsibilities
- Conduct threat models and train engineers on threat modeling techniques.
- Develop, document, and maintain security standards and design patterns.
- Research the threat landscape and recommend solutions for potential threats.
- Use tools like Wiz and Snyk to identify and manage vulnerable dependencies.
- Foster collaboration between security and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a senior or principal application security engineer.
- Deep experience in application security programs and secure coding best practices.
- Familiarity with modern application security issues and mitigation techniques.
- Experience creating reference architectures and engineering specifications.
- Proven success in cloud-native, DevOps environments including CI/CD pipelines.
