Responsibilities
- Build modern cross-platform desktop applications for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Develop desktop UIs using C#/.NET, Avalonia, WPF, MVVM, and asynchronous programming patterns.
- Implement high-fidelity interfaces from Figma designs in close collaboration with designers.
- Consume APIs and implement WebSocket, real-time, or streaming communication.
- Design application architecture and optimize performance, debugging, and memory management.
- Develop shared core architectures, platform-specific UI and service layers, IPC mechanisms, background services, and privileged helpers as needed.
- Use AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional C#/.NET development experience.
- Strong C# proficiency and solid experience building desktop applications.
- Experience with modern .NET desktop UI frameworks such as Avalonia, WPF, or similar, including MVVM and asynchronous programming patterns.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with WebSocket communication.
- Experience implementing high-fidelity UIs from Figma designs and collaborating with designers.
- Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, debugging, and memory management.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar.
- Fluency in English and Czech.
- Preferred experience with cross-platform desktop development, real-time updates or streaming data, IPC, Windows Services, Linux daemons, networking, IoT products, VPNs, and WireGuard.
