Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and govern SAP ABAP development standards, including OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits.
- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements, including extensions to standard applications and custom applications.
- Review and optimize data models, interfaces, database usage, and HANA-optimized development for performance.
- Develop and use OData services and SAP Gateway for frontend-backend integration.
- Support integration with SAP and non-SAP systems and ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs in collaboration with functional teams and architects.
- Analyze and resolve incidents related to ABAP and Fiori applications.
- Allocate tasks, manage supplier-team workload, mentor team members, and lead complex technical developments and problem resolution.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of ABAP programming experience, including OO ABAP, CDS, and debugging.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Experience in S/4HANA environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP is required.
- Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, and BW is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
