Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and govern SAP ABAP solutions, including OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits.
- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements, including custom applications and extensions to standard apps.
- Review and optimize data models, interfaces, database usage, and HANA-optimized development for performance.
- Develop and integrate OData services and SAP Gateway for frontend-backend connectivity.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs while collaborating with functional teams and architects.
- Support integration with SAP and non-SAP systems and contribute to architectural and technical design decisions.
- Analyze and resolve incidents involving ABAP and Fiori applications.
- Allocate tasks, manage supplier team workload and capacity, mentor team members, and lead complex technical developments.
- Promote clean code, reusability, performance optimization, SAP best practices, and enterprise standards.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience with ABAP programming, including OO ABAP, CDS, and debugging.
- Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Experience developing with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
- Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Experience in S/4HANA environments is preferred.
- Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, and BW is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
