Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability research on software applications, operating systems, and cloud-based technologies.
- Perform reverse engineering of software and binaries to identify vulnerabilities and support mission objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools for vulnerability research, analysis, and cyber operations.
- Analyze software architectures, source code, and system designs to identify security flaws.
- Research emerging technologies and cloud platforms for operational impacts and security risks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, cyber operators, and mission stakeholders to develop and integrate cyber capabilities.
- Support integration, testing, and operational deployment of research tools and mission applications.
- Document research findings, technical analyses, and software designs.
- Monitor evolving cyber threats, exploitation techniques, computer science developments, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph with the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in computer science, software engineering, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience with software engineering principles and secure software development.
- Experience with reverse engineering and vulnerability research on software applications or operating systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Computer Network Operations tools, operational missions, exploit development, offensive cyber research, Intelligence Community cyber operations, Linux internals, virtualization, container technologies, or distributed computing environments.
- Preferred experience developing software with C/C++, Python, Rust, Go, or similar programming languages.
