Responsibilities
- Perform static and dynamic technical analysis of malicious binaries.
- Overcome techniques designed to defeat malware analysis.
- Determine malware functionality and capability, callbacks, adversary infrastructure, and indicators of compromise.
- Provide documentation and technical information supporting malware detection, signature creation, attribution, and mitigation.
Requirements
- Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Have relevant malware reverse-engineering experience, ranging from 2 to 13 years depending on level and degree pathway.
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Reverse Engineer 2, 3, or 4.
- CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA certification may be required for Reverse Engineer 2 and is required for Reverse Engineer 3 and 4.
- Information Assurance Certification may be required.
