Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop AI systems, machine learning algorithms, advanced software tools, and experimentation solutions for hiring intelligence.
- Lead the design and architecture of reliable, scalable new and existing systems.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Mentor engineers, serve as a technical lead, or lead an engineering team.
- Help transform Amazon Talent Acquisition by improving hiring scale, sophistication, accuracy, fairness, and precision.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Base salary range is $168,100.00–$227,400.00 annually for the Arlington, Virginia location.
