Responsibilities
- Further develop key components of the BS2000 mainframe operating system.
- Support the full software lifecycle from specification and implementation through testing, maintenance, and service support.
- Design innovative and complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.
- Collaborate in large development teams and with international strategic partners.
- Create technical documentation and content for user manuals.
- Provide technical support to service and sales colleagues, including back-level maintenance, troubleshooting of owned modules, and support for third-party components.
Requirements
- Completed degree, such as Computer Science, or a comparable qualification in an IT-related field.
- Initial professional experience in software development.
- Experience with Assembler, C/C++, scripting languages, and system debugging.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, including source code management and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
