Responsibilities
- Evaluate and coach clients’ technology teams.
- Define technology strategies and architecture solutions for capital-markets clients.
- Design and support technical implementations, including work performed on client sites.
- Own delivery for a specific project module and develop technical concepts for that module.
- Contribute to the Financial Services Practice, particularly Capital and Investment Banking, and support BCG case teams.
Requirements
- 4 to 10 years of IT Architecture experience in technology consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking.
- Hands-on experience with trading platforms and systems such as Nasdaw, Calypso, FIS Murex, Bloomberg, or similar.
- Knowledge of trade and settlement processes and technologies across front office, middle office, and back office, including equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, and derivatives.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures.
- Familiarity with microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, event-driven architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and cloud platforms and services.
- Experience building scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions, particularly for high-frequency trading and data processing.
- University degree with above-average academic performance in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to client sites.
- For candidates based in the Netherlands, fluent English is required and Dutch is highly desirable.
