Base Salary
$100k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver an internal platform for personal or feature environments.
- Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for optimal performance and security.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and automate release processes.
- Implement observability tooling to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with developers to improve delivery and enhance system reliability.
- Ensure high availability through effective monitoring and incident response.
- Promote infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Document systems, configurations, and incident processes for clarity.
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24-hour reliability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience or at least 5 years of strong AWS-focused engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, and IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong background in CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
- Ability to work independently to build new systems and processes.
- Time zone flexibility for partial 24-hour coverage is preferred.
