Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites covering functional and non-functional requirements for ADMS.
- Automate and execute acceptance, deployment, regression, exploratory, UI, backend service, and performance tests.
- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline and maintain an approximately 80% automation ratio.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify usability issues, visual defects, hidden defects, and functionality gaps.
- Refine test strategies, test plans, acceptance criteria, and test coverage across application layers.
- Debug code, troubleshoot application issues, investigate defect and performance root causes, and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, development managers, business analysts, and distributed teams.
- Develop working knowledge of ADMS, EurIS systems, and related business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- More than three years of software testing experience focused on automation, with proven manual testing skills.
- Thorough understanding of acceptance, regression, sanity, exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing.
- Proficiency with automation using object-oriented languages such as C# or Java.
- Understanding of REST web service patterns and ESB queuing patterns, with the ability to automate their testing.
- Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium or JavaScript frameworks such as WebdriverIO.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices and effective integration of testing into development processes.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot across application layers and investigate defect and performance root causes.
- Initial experience with BDD tools such as SpecFlow/Reqnroll, JBehave, or Cucumber.js is preferred.
- Experience with PowerShell, Shell, or Bash scripting, backend services using DDD, Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, JavaScript or TypeScript, performance tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling, relational databases, and SQL is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English and ability to collaborate with distributed international teams.
