Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable backend services and APIs.
- Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly frontend applications.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement features.
- Write clean, documented, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
- Improve development processes and tools and proactively solve technical challenges.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Experience with at least one backend programming language such as Go or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as Next.js, TypeScript, React, or Vue.js, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Data Engineer are a plus.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, RAG, SFT, or vector databases is desirable.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.
