Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end AI solutions spanning data ingestion, feature engineering, model training and inference, APIs, web applications, and observability.
- Develop responsive front-end applications with React, Angular, or Streamlit and backend services with Python and FastAPI.
- Develop and deploy predictive machine learning models for structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate LLMs, agentic AI, robotics platforms, AMRs, tool automation systems, control systems, and the Micron MES ecosystem into manufacturing workflows.
- Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and deploy them through Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated releases, monitoring, drift detection, model evaluation, feedback loops, and cloud-based ML systems.
- Apply Responsible AI practices including input validation, prompt-injection prevention, PII/IP protection, model governance, and audit logging.
- Support testing, debugging, documentation, installation, maintenance, and optimization of AI and software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 12+ years of experience building and shipping production web or AI applications end to end.
- Experience developing and deploying web applications, APIs, or data-driven solutions.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong programming skills in Python and modern Angular/TypeScript, along with strong SQL skills and knowledge of data structures, schemas, and data architecture.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD development practices.
- Working knowledge of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LLM integration, agentic AI, model evaluation, and Responsible AI practices.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn and familiarity with regression, classification, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI.
- Preferred experience includes semiconductor manufacturing, industrial automation, smart manufacturing, MLOps, enterprise AI applications, MES, Industrial IoT, equipment automation systems, and building AI agents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and adaptability skills.
