AI Solution Architect
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and validation of AI-ready platform lifecycle tools and scalable predictive and generative AI deployments.
- Define network architectures and hardware/software configurations for on-premises edge computing and cloud-based AI workloads.
- Install, configure, patch, and harden systems to support cybersecurity of industrial control assets.
- Translate business needs into technical AI requirements and coordinate delivery plans with cross-functional technical and product teams.
- Coordinate multiple global AI programs across manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Optimize the AI development lifecycle from controller-level data ingestion through HMI model inference.
- Provide high-level technical support to field personnel deploying AI-enhanced control systems and HMI platforms.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of relevant experience in industrial control systems, platform architecture, and generative AI.
- Deep knowledge of Mark VIe controller platforms, ToolboxST, and HMI platform architecture.
- Experience designing scalable AI solutions, including model deployment, data orchestration, and MLOps.
- Expertise with routers, firewalls, switches, compute, storage, software-defined networks, and Active Directory environments.
- Hands-on cybersecurity experience and knowledge of NERC/CIP and IEC 62443 requirements for power generation.
- Advanced proficiency with virtualization platforms and integration of on-premises infrastructure.
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex delivery roadmaps in an Agile framework.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating AI model deployment and monitoring.
- Familiarity with large language models, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation in industrial contexts.
- Understanding of GT, ST, HRSG, and power plant operations and maintenance.
