Responsibilities
- Design and develop control-plane and system services for firewall platforms above the networking dataplane.
- Build and maintain management interfaces, APIs, configuration frameworks, CLI functionality, logging, diagnostics, and SSH-based secure access.
- Implement authentication, SAML, guest access, SSL/TLS handling, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Develop embedded content-filtering services with URL categorization, reputation, rating systems, and SNMP/telemetry support.
- Lead licensing-system development, vulnerability remediation, and secure architecture efforts with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Require 8+ years of C/C++ systems development experience for embedded platforms, security appliances, or network operating systems.
- Require hands-on expertise with configuration frameworks, service APIs, CLI development, logging systems, and SSH.
- Require understanding of L3–L7 networking and security concepts, including SSL/TLS, authentication, identity federation, and PKI.
- Require experience with certificate management, license enforcement frameworks, vulnerability mitigation, and secure coding practices.
- Require proficiency with Linux or embedded OS internals, debugging complex system issues, and driving technical discussions across teams.
