Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship features across the backend stack, including data infrastructure and product endpoints
- Build extensible and robust business logic for processing health data
- Prototype, productionize, and run experiments to improve AI/ML model accuracy, speed, and cost
- Establish best practices for scalability, security, testing, and ML operations, including model versioning, monitoring, and alerting
- Continuously improve the engineering process and culture
Requirements
- At least four years of experience designing, building, and operating a large-scale backend system
- Expertise coding in TypeScript or Python
- Strong understanding of algorithms and working with data
- Strong mathematics and statistics skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Interest in improving people’s health and fitness
