Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI-powered applications and agents for real business use cases.
- Design clean, accessible interfaces with simple inputs and actionable outputs for non-technical users.
- Integrate LLM APIs and AI development tools using prompt engineering, output validation, and data handling.
- Develop practical software solutions involving APIs, backend systems, web interfaces, databases, and data tools.
- Deliver reliable, simple, and pilotable solutions during the internship period.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a University Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Sciences, AI/Robotics, or Software Engineering.
- Practical experience building AI-powered applications, including prompt design, output validation, and working with LLM APIs.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain or CrewAI is preferred but not required.
- High proficiency in Python and/or familiarity with C# or Java.
- Comfort working with APIs, backend systems, web frameworks, and cloud environments.
- Experience with databases, SQL, and data manipulation or visualization tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- A production mindset focused on reliability, simplicity, usability, and delivering tools for non-technical users.
Benefits
- Monthly full-time allowance of €500–€700 gross, with part-time internships paid pro rata.
- Monthly housing compensation of €300 net near Amsterdam or €255 net at other Philips locations for eligible interns who relocate.
- Travel compensation of up to €192 net per month when not eligible for a free public transport card.

- Internship starts as soon as possible, lasts at least six months, requires 32–40 hours per week, and is office-based at least three days per week where applicable.
