Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy reliable, scalable production models, services, pipelines, and enterprise AI applications.
- Build and optimize model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
- Develop intelligent agents, copilots, and retrieval-augmented generation applications integrated with enterprise systems, data sources, and business processes.
- Improve model performance, latency, cost efficiency, reliability, explainability, and operational support.
- Create reusable frameworks, components, libraries, infrastructure, tooling, and engineering standards.
- Monitor deployed models for performance degradation, bias, drift, and operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Establish testing, evaluation, and release criteria for solution quality, reliability, and business impact.
- Partner with data science, product, data engineering, platform teams, stakeholders, vendors, and external customers.
- Communicate technical trade-offs, risks, timelines, and recommendations, mentor engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience delivering production applications.
- Experience developing AI, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python, APIs, system integration, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
- Experience with large language models, intelligent agents, copilots, or retrieval-augmented generation.
- Experience integrating solutions with enterprise platforms, business applications, and data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of software testing, deployment automation, CI/CD, and production support best practices.
- Strong English communication, organization, planning, time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience with Azure, Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, or Power Platform.
- An advanced degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Ability to manage competing tasks, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate ethical and accountable conduct.
