Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform across current and planned modules.
- Lead high-level and low-level design for complex, multi-instance, global, and highly integrated ServiceNow implementations.
- Translate business objectives and technology requirements into ServiceNow architectural blueprints.
- Define and lead technical governance processes, including design authority reviews and architectural assurance.
- Design and govern integrations between ServiceNow, enterprise applications, cloud services, and third-party systems.
- Lead ServiceNow data architecture, including CMDB and CSDM governance, integrity, and quality.
- Resolve complex architectural, performance, and security issues as the ultimate technical escalation point.
- Coach and mentor Solution Architects, Developers, and Implementation teams.
- Present technical strategies, architectural decisions, and platform roadmaps to executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
- Support pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimates, and statement of work documents.
Requirements
- An active ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect credential is mandatory.
- At least 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow solution design, development, and implementation experience, including 3–5 years as a Platform or Enterprise Architect.
- Demonstrated expertise across the core ServiceNow platform and multiple major application suites.
- Expert proficiency in platform security, ACLs, encryption, JavaScript, GlideScript, data modeling, and integration frameworks.
- Recent experience with Flow Designer, Now Experience, Service Portal, ATF, IntegrationHub, NowAssist, and NowCreate.
- Experience architecting and leading large-scale, complex, and global ServiceNow deployments.
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification and multiple Certified Implementation Specialist certifications, such as ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM.
- Preferred: familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ITIL processes.
- Preferred: experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies for platform development and release management.
- Fluent English and Dutch are required; another European language is a plus.
