Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and global leadership to co-author and ship 0-to-1 financial products.
- Define product scope, user experience, and roadmap while translating business and regulatory requirements into software.
- Build rapid proofs of concept, deploy them to live users, and iterate quickly to validate market fit.
- Design backend architecture and APIs while contributing to frontend implementation and product polish.
- Own technical and product outcomes end to end in an ambiguous, high-velocity innovation environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with deep backend architecture expertise and the ability to work full-stack when needed.
- Demonstrated experience personally shipping products from scratch in high-growth startups, corporate innovation labs, or greenfield environments.
- Strong product and commercial judgment, including the ability to evaluate technical decisions based on user experience and business impact.
- Pragmatic, resourceful, and comfortable translating ambiguous executive visions into maintainable software.
- Preferred: experience building software using generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent workflow automation.
- Preferred: fintech, payments, compliance, or money-movement experience.
- Preferred: experience as a startup founder, founding engineer, or technical lead of a rapid-prototyping team.
