Responsibilities
- Implement new features and participate in Finastra Essence upgrades.
- Analyze technical and architectural aspects of Finastra Essence implementations.
- Write technical specification documents for offshore services and developments.
- Design and integrate customer solutions and develop extensions using the Finastra Essence toolkit API.
- Maintain coding, design, and quality standards while ensuring development meets business and end-user requirements.
- Investigate technical and functional defects and propose appropriate solutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and regional teams and mentor junior Technical Consultants.
Requirements
- Relevant financial-services industry experience, preferably with a financial institution, banking organization, or banking software or technology company.
- A computer science degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong C, C++, C#, and Java skills.
- Good Unix, Linux, or Windows skills.
- SQL experience with Oracle, Sybase, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong client focus, professional integrity, interpersonal communication, teamwork, transparency, and spoken and written English.
- Finastra Essence technical knowledge is a plus.
