Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Build responsive UI components using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Design and implement microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven components.
- Deliver cloud-ready solutions using AWS services, including S3, DocumentDB, Arora, and Amazon MSK.
- Deploy containerized applications to Amazon EKS using Docker, with CI/CD support from Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Write automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, Ready API, Postman, and Selenium.
- Work with NoSQL databases, caching strategies, Maven, and GitHub.
- Document and test APIs with Swagger and participate in peer reviews, architecture sessions, and production support.
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape the long-term evolution of core business systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, S3, MSK, DocumentDB, and ElastiCache.
- Strong background in microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native design.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, caching, and real-time streaming.
- Strong experience with Docker, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory, and Git.
- Hands-on testing experience with JUnit, Mockito, and API testing tools.
- Bonus qualifications include Amazon Corretto, Netty, Tomcat, embedded server configurations, Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka, Swagger/OpenAPI, Ready API, and service-level test automation.
