Responsibilities
- Solve complex software engineering problems and contribute to real-world product development projects.
- Contribute to frontend, backend, and/or mobile development efforts.
- Write code that is deployed and used by internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive system support.
- Potentially build cloud infrastructure, cloud-native services, APIs, patient experiences, AI-powered healthcare automations, SRE automation, or scalable data pipelines depending on team placement.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related program, or pursuing a master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Experience with Microservices, Java, MySQL, and Angular.
- Ability to work hybrid at the Boca Raton, Florida headquarters during the internship and willingness to relocate after graduation.
- Strong problem-solving, curiosity, self-motivation, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms, containerization, caching, WebSockets, AWS, Claude, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI development tools.
- Architecture and Platform Engineering roles prefer familiarity with cloud computing, networking, and infrastructure as code; Golang, Terraform, and EKS are nice to have.
- Software Engineering roles prefer distributed systems, REST APIs, pub/sub, caching, Git pull-request workflows, and prompt engineering.
- Data and Analytics Engineering roles require SQL, Python, and foundational data engineering knowledge.
